Requirements
Must:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is mandatory.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting is essential.
- Experience in reporting and analyzing clinical documentation for Joint Commission accreditation in stroke programs is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in using personal computers and Microsoft Office applications is expected.
- Current Texas RN licensure from the Board of Nurse Examiners is required.
- Up-to-date certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and oversight of stroke data for University Hospital.
- Conduct data collection, analysis, and reporting to ensure compliance with Joint Commission Stroke standards.
- Collaborate with the hospitals Stroke Medical Directors, Stroke Coordinator, and Ancillary Program Leadership.
- Advance data collection processes and create strategies to address any discrepancies in data accuracy.
