Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience with Linux systems, particularly Debian
- Strong hands-on expertise in Bash scripting for automation and system management
- In-depth knowledge of MySQL, focusing on query optimization and database administration
- Comprehensive understanding of networking principles, system security, and performance tuning
- Proven experience in high-availability production environments
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and enhance Debian Linux servers in production settings
- Develop, write, and sustain efficient Bash scripts for automation, monitoring, and systems management
- Oversee, fine-tune, and resolve issues with MySQL databases, ensuring performance enhancement and backup procedures
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and infrastructure automation
- Monitor system performance, diagnose problems, and implement lasting solutions
- Collaborate with developers, security, and operations teams to elevate reliability and application performance
- Document systems, workflows, and operational procedures
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as required
