Requirements
Must:
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Math/Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Bioinformatics, or another technical field providing strong mathematical training.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with a programming language such as Java, Python, PySpark, or SQL.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in detecting fraud in healthcare, banking, or security through deep analytics applied to both structured and unstructured data.
- Proven skills in extracting signals utilizing pattern recognition, NLP, imaging, and related technologies.
- A successful record of developing and deploying models in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to independently initiate and manage projects from conception to completion.
- Proficient in communicating technical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement analytics or AI/ML solutions for fraud, abuse, and waste (FAW) prevention, with opportunities to engage in projects like revenue cycle management, automated medical coding, payment adjudication, and image analysis.
- Collaborate with business and operations teams to convert complex requirements into actionable AI solutions and clearly relay insights to leadership and stakeholders.
- Design, train, and deploy ML models into production using methods such as generative AI/LLMs, NLP/NLU, computer vision, deep learning, etc.
- Manage and analyze high-volume healthcare datasets efficiently by working with large-scale data and distributed computing frameworks.
- Use advanced methodologies in statistics, optimization, probability theory, and machine learning to construct tools, perform thorough analyses, and deliver resilient solutions using Python or related languages.
- Partner with engineering teams to create scalable, adaptable pipelines that integrate AI innovations into real-world products.
- Adapt to an agile, fast-paced environment while retaining a keen interest in exploring and integrating advanced AI technologies to support future initiatives.
