Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and enhance complex Java applications using advanced object-oriented and functional programming techniques. - Lead the execution of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions across services and modules. - Utilize GitHub Copilot to expedite development, prototype solutions, and mentor junior developers on effective AI-assisted coding practices. - Architect and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and third-party systems, ensuring robust error handling and security. - Conduct thorough code reviews, uphold coding standards, and guide refactoring efforts to enhance code quality. - Develop and implement strategies for unit, integration, and performance testing using tools such as JUnit, TestNG, and Mockito. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and delivery plans. - Manage source control workflows utilizing Git and GitHub, including branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and release management. - Optimize database interactions using JDBC, JPA/Hibernate, and advanced SQL techniques. - Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues using profiling tools and logging frameworks. - Mentor junior developers through pair programming, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions. - Stay updated with emerging Java technologies, frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot), and development tools to enhance team capabilities.
