Requirements

Must:
- Customer support experience in an IT or similar helpdesk role is essential. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. - Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. - High attention to detail is crucial. - Well-organized with strong planning abilities. - Proactive, able to manage multiple tasks effectively and result-driven. - Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Our ideal candidate will possess: - A minimum of 2 years experience in servicing or installing computer systems in direct client interactions (telecom, cabling, IT networks, AV, security, cameras). - Familiarity with commercial IT networks for LAN/WAN. - Previous experience with ticketing systems. - Some experience in project administration within the IT field. - Professional demeanor with strong communication skills. - A commitment to ongoing personal and organizational improvement. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Integrity, initiative, and a solid work ethic. - Ability to obtain a police clearance upon hiring. - Position based at our Chestermere office requires reliable own transportation. Additional qualifications (not mandatory but advantageous): - Relevant professional IT certifications such as A+, Network+, CCNA, SSCA SIP, or Microsoft Certifications. - Preference will be given to candidates with proficient written and spoken French skills.

Responsibilities

- Oversee project progression to ensure adherence to timelines from planning through to completion. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders. - Use appropriate tools to organize project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines. - Inform stakeholders of schedules and changes as necessary. - Organize and lead project meetings to synchronize stakeholders when needed. - Address and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle. - Maintain communication with internal and external parties regarding project updates and challenges. - Monitor task completion status to identify project risks and create mitigation strategies. - Accurately process port-in and port-out requests within designated timeframes. - Verify porting documentation when transferring telephone numbers between carriers. - Ensure continuous follow-up and communication with customers and partners. - Collaborate with cross-department teams to troubleshoot service-impacting issues. - Manage fax service porting and forwarding tasks. - Work both independently and collaboratively with others. - Coordinate shipping of devices involved in project work. - Provide standby emergency support for one week each month (compensated).
