Requirements
Must:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field
- Over 6 years of experience in software development
- Proven track record in solution design, architecture, and delivery
- In-depth knowledge of Java internals, including class-loading and memory management
- Familiarity with monitoring and distributed tracing
- Proficient in Java libraries like Spring and Hibernate, as well as container technologies like Spring Boot and OpenLiberty
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and optimization, along with non-relational databases such as Mongo
- Preferred experience in C++
- Knowledge of warehousing and supply chain domains
- Skills in front-end development using Angular and React
- Familiarity with various Hyperscalers, preferably Azure
Responsibilities
- Create and develop Java applications within our monolithic and next-generation microservice hybrid cloud framework
- Ensure applications are maintainable, documented, testable, observable, and perform efficiently
- Mentor junior team members on effective software design practices using TDD, API-first, and SOLID principles
- Collaborate with operations and database teams to enhance delivery and runtime performance
- Partner with vendors and third-party staffing providers to assess solutions, design integrations, assign tasks, and ensure successful project delivery
