Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in developing AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) policies and databases in carrier-grade environments
- In-depth understanding of RADIUS Authentication and EAP Methods, specifically EAP-SIM and EAP-AKA for secure SIM-based authentication
- Proficiency in configuring Wi-Fi Passpoint for seamless roaming between cellular and Wi-Fi networks
- Familiarity with Wireless Broadband Alliance standards and interoperability
- Strong capabilities in managing SQL and NoSQL databases for subscriber profiles and session tracking
- Experience with SQL database architectures, particularly MySQL Master/Slave for high availability
- Aptitude for designing databases capable of handling high transactions per second while ensuring low-latency responses
- Knowledge of DHCP/DNS/IPAM for IP address management in dynamic Wi-Fi settings
- Proficiency in security protocols such as IPsec, TLS/RADSEC, and certificate management for traffic protection
- Familiarity with tunneling technologies like Ethernet over GRE or IPsec for secure routing from Access Points to core networks
- Experience with carrier-grade AAA platforms such as Nokia AAA and FreeRADIUS
- Background in network simulation and testing tools for User Equipment and EAP methods
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AAA policies and database systems for Wi-Fi offload
- Configure and optimize Wi-Fi Passpoint for user roaming experiences
- Ensure compliance with Wireless Broadband Alliance standards for system interoperability
- Manage and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases relating to subscriber profiles and session logs
- Design and enhance database structures to accommodate high TPS for real-time authentication
- Oversee DHCP/DNS/IPAM systems for dynamic IP address management
- Implement security protocols to protect data transmissions between hotspots and core networks
- Utilize tunneling technologies to secure traffic routing
- Work with AAA platforms and ensure their effectiveness for carrier-grade needs
- Conduct network simulations and testing using appropriate tools for EAP flows
