Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a DevOps engineer or in a comparable software engineering role
- Proficient in Git and GitHub workflows
- Expertise in Terraform
- Prior experience with AWS infrastructure
- Solid understanding of databases and SQL
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Collaborative team player with a good sense of humor
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, including continuous integration and deployment practices
- Willingness to lead, mentor, and support fellow engineering team members
- 5+ years of comprehensive DevOps experience
- 5+ years of cloud development through AWS
- 5+ years managing and configuring databases (MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB) along with SQL
- 5+ years overseeing production infrastructure utilizing tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- 5+ years in configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar
Responsibilities
- Constructing and deploying AWS infrastructure
- Rolling out product updates
- Identifying and resolving production issues
- Implementing integrations that cater to our customers needs
- Advising developers on stakeholder needs
- Enhancing automation in development and release processes
- Ensuring system security against cybersecurity risks
- Diagnosing technical challenges and creating software updates and solutions
- Collaborating with software developers to confirm that development adheres to established guidelines and functions as expected
- Participating in project planning and management decisions
- Conducting root cause analysis of production errors and addressing technical issues
- Developing scripts for automated visualization
- Formulating procedures for system troubleshooting and upkeep
