Requirements
Must:
- I possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- I have 2–5 years of experience in web application development, preferably with Magento 2.
- I am proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (including frameworks like React/Vue/Knockout.js), HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful API development.
- I am familiar with API documentation tools such as Postman or Swagger and have experience with version control systems like Git.
- I demonstrate strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- I am bilingual in English and Chinese, capable of reading, writing, and communicating effectively in both languages.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-border teams or within e-commerce settings is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- I will develop, customize, and maintain our Magento 2 e-commerce platform, focusing on both frontend user interface and backend modules.
- I will build and manage API integration initiatives, ensuring seamless connectivity of client data with our systems based on provided API documentation.
- I will work closely with product managers, designers, and technical teams situated in both China and the U.S. to ensure successful project execution.
- I will troubleshoot, debug, and enhance site performance to guarantee scalability and high availability.
- I will implement secure data management, authentication, and version control practices.
- I will engage in system architecture design and provide technical insights for future improvements.
Description
We are excited to offer a starting salary of $80,000+ based on experience. This is a full-time position, and we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) with matching, dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid holidays, paid sick time, paid time off, and vision insurance. Proficiency in Chinese is required, and the ability to commute to Missouri City, TX 77489 is essential. This role is intended for in-person work.
