Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of experience in native mobile application development (Swift/Objective-C for iOS or Kotlin/Java for Android)
- Strong knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols and mobile OS background task management
- Proven experience in building SDKs or libraries for use by other developers
- Understanding of mobile security best practices including Keychain/Keystore management and OAuth protocols
- Proficient in using Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployments
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance mobile SDKs for iOS and Android that facilitate secure communication with smart locks via BLE and NFC
- Create complex algorithms for Inside/Outside Intelligence to accurately locate users in relation to locks
- Implement advanced security features such as tokenized access and digital key sharing, ensuring data encryption and protection
- Collaborate with partner engineering teams to support integration of our mobile platform into their systems
- Design and develop user-friendly mobile interfaces for managing multiple smart keys
- Monitor and troubleshoot app performance across various devices, including different iPhone models and the diverse Android ecosystem
