Requirements
Must:
- I seek candidates with a BS/BA in Information Technology or a related field.
- You should have at least ten (10) years of experience with technical or functional solution deployment on the Oracle ERP Financial platform – R12.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience with R12 Financial solutions such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM), and Tax is essential, ideally in end-to-end solutions.
- I require at least five (5) years of experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion (SaaS) ERP Financial solutions, again preferably in end-to-end solutions.
- Familiarity with integrating Oracle’s Fusion ERP Financial solutions with top-tier third-party solutions, master data management, and business analytics tools is necessary.
- Experience in supporting project financial cutover activities and verifying the reconciliation and validation of source financial data with converted data during a project go-live is crucial.
- You should have experience deploying and utilizing Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) – Gen1 or Gen2, as well as the Oracle tax solution.
- Advanced knowledge in utilizing JIRA for tracking business/application solutions and managing project estimates is preferred.
- A strong operational background in various process areas, including standard general ledger (GL) and service level agreement (SLA) transactions, as well as the financial close process, is required.
- You should possess basic project management capabilities with an understanding of the ERP application implementation life cycle.
- Experience fulfilling SOX requirements for both internal and external auditing is needed.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL to support data extraction and analysis for problem resolution is essential.
- Lastly, experience in transitioning business solutions to a steady state and collaborating with a managed services partner for functional help desk support is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- I will rely on you to implement comprehensive business solutions by utilizing standard Oracle Cloud Fusion applications technology, promoting simplification and reusability of financial solutions like AP, AR, CM, and Tax.
- You will facilitate business process reengineering efforts with different business units to deploy solutions that conform to our Global Template solution.
- You will support all integration solutions with third-party applications relevant to Financial: AP, AR, CM, and Tax solutions, including master data management and financial transactions.
- Partnering with our strategic implementation partners, you will lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of new or enhanced functionalities, business flows, or modules.
- Your duties will include ensuring that functional specification documents (FSDs) and technical specification documents (TSDs) are properly defined and reviewed, as well as ensuring test scripts are developed for various testing levels and supporting defect management and auditing documentation requirements.
- Document and implement changes by utilizing approved change management processes.
- You will assist in creating content guides as required by the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team and support knowledge transition during the hyper care mode with our strategic managed services partner.
- You will be responsible for consistently assessing new functional opportunities within the Oracle EBS application to facilitate business process reengineering.
- Supporting all Master Data Management (MDM) requirements linked to business unit transitions and ongoing maintenance to ensure high MDM quality is essential.
- You will aid in the development and execution of new functionality implementation project plans.
- Collaborate with our managed services partner to ensure the ongoing steady state of business processes for deployed solutions and conduct global status meetings with key business partners from each business region.
- In conjunction with business process owners, you will establish, track, and manage critical KPIs for defined business processes to support both business analytics and reporting requirements.
- Analyzing quarterly updates to Oracle Cloud Fusion for defined business processes and associated modules is expected to align with planned patch releases.
- You will develop end-to-end process documentation using global standard tools to create foundations for test scripts, training materials, and business communications.
- Support the training curriculum and requirements for Process Owners, Super Users, and End Users, including onboarding processes defined by HR.
- Collaborate with other Oracle ERP and IT Infrastructure team members to ensure efficient support and changes management practices.
- Finally, support the Oracle Cloud Fusion solution infrastructure requirements that align with all continuous improvement project demands.
