Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related functional area is essential.
- I expect at least ten (10) years of experience in technical or functional solution deployment on the Oracle ERP platform, specifically R12 (also known as Oracle Business Systems Analyst).
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience with R12 Oracle Supply Chain Planning and Execution projects is required.
- Five (5) years of experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion (SaaS) Supply Chain Planning and Execution solutions—preferably end-to-end solutions—is necessary.
- Experience in integrating Oracle’s Supply Chain Planning solutions with third-party best-in-class solutions and master data management solutions is advantageous.
- I seek candidates who have participated in at least two iterations of deploying or implementing the Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Planning and Execution solution, working with end-users and super-users on optimizing the solution.
- Advanced knowledge of leveraging JIRA for end-to-end traceability of business and application solutions is expected.
- Experience in providing project estimates and managing projects effectively is required.
- Strong operational experience in various process areas within Supply Chain Planning, complemented by a working understanding of supplemental transactions in modules like Order Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Service is important.
- Basic project management capabilities to define and implement project plans for achieving deliverables are needed.
- A comprehensive understanding of the ERP application implementation lifecycle process is vital.
- Experience in supporting SOX requirements, both internal and external auditing, is a must.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction and problem resolution analysis is desired.
- Experience transitioning business solutions to a steady state while collaborating with a managed services partner to support a functional help desk solution is also expected.
Responsibilities
- I am accountable for the overall global business process design for supply chain planning and execution, encompassing the building, testing, implementation, documentation, monitoring, and auditing of deployed solutions.
- I will implement comprehensive business solutions utilizing standard Oracle Cloud Fusion applications technology to enhance the simplicity and reusability of Supply Chain Planning and Execution applications and modules.
- Collaborating with our strategic Managed Services Partner, I will support all supply chain planning processes in a steady-state mode, including functional helpdesk support for KTLO and enhancements, along with quarterly Cloud Fusion updates by Oracle.
- I will facilitate business process reengineering activities with business units to deploy solutions that are in line with the UniFirst Global Template solution.
- I will oversee the integration of third-party applications that play a role in supply chain planning and execution, ensuring effective management of master data and information on supply and demand.
- Partnering with UniFirst’s strategic implementation partner(s), I will lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of new or enhanced functionalities and business flows.
- I am responsible for ensuring that Functional Specifications Documents (FSDs) and Technical Specification Documents (TSDs) are properly defined, reviewed, and approved before any build activities take place.
- Developing and executing test scripts for various levels of testing and validation, I will support defect management and the requirements for auditing documentation.
- I will document and implement changes using approved change management processes and assist with creating content guides for the OGL team and support knowledge transition with our strategic MSP partner.
- I will consistently evaluate new functionality within the Oracle EBS application to support our business process reengineering efforts and ensure high quality in Master Data Management (MDM) associated with business unit transitions.
- I will conduct regular global status meetings with key business partners from each unit and region, facilitating ongoing steady-state business processes for the deployed solutions while tracking and managing critical KPIs in collaboration with the business process owners.
