You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise integration development, including at least 2 years working with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. A MuleSoft Certified Developer (Level 1) certification is mandatory, while an Integration Architect certification is an advantage. We expect a strong understanding of API-led architecture, system-to-system (STL), and point-to-point (P2P) integrations. Familiarity with integration patterns, secure protocols like SFTP, TLS, and OAuth 2.0, as well as MuleSoft's error handling best practices is essential. You should be skilled in contributing to Technical Solution Documents (TSDs) and comprehending architectural design documentation. Proficiency in mUnit testing is needed with a clear focus on achieving high code coverage. Experience with Azure DevOps and Git for CI/CD processes is also required, along with strong SQL skills in Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2, specifically in query optimization. Familiarity with Oracle ERP integrations and its data models, along with experience using Splunk for log analysis, is beneficial. You should also possess knowledge of API governance and policy application within Anypoint API Manager, exposure to AI tools such as Cursor AI Editor for development and testing, and a working knowledge of Azure integration services including APIM, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Storage, Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault. Responsibilities

As a MuleSoft Developer, you will spend about 70% of your time on MuleSoft Development. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and deploying MuleSoft APIs, STL flows, and P2P integrations utilizing Anypoint Studio and CloudHub. You will transform functional and technical requirements into secure, scalable MuleSoft solutions with guidance from senior architects. Implementing integration patterns such as request-reply, publish/subscribe, and content-based routing is essential. You will also contribute to Technical Solution Documents (TSDs), which will contain mappings, architecture diagrams, and sequence flows. Ensuring secure integrations using SFTP, TLS, and OAuth 2.0 protocols will be part of your role, along with developing mUnit test suites for high code coverage and supporting automated regression testing. Optimizing API performance through DataWeave transformations and caching strategies will be necessary, as will configuring logging, monitoring, and alerting via Splunk and Anypoint Monitoring. You will support API lifecycle management through Anypoint API Manager by applying policies as directed and utilize AI-driven tools like Cursor AI Editor to expedite development, testing, and documentation workflows. Additionally, you will handle message consumption and publishing to Azure Service Bus queues/topics or Event Grid topics, manage file operations from Azure Blob Storage for large payload processing, trigger or consume Azure Functions as part of integration workflows, and connect to Azure SQL and Cosmos DB from MuleSoft flows for data operations. The remaining 30% of your time will involve providing support for Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft deployments, integrating mUnit and artifact repositories, collaborating with ERP teams (e.g., Oracle ERP) to create reliable integrations, and working with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) by writing optimized SQL queries and assisting with performance tuning. You will also play a part in production troubleshooting and root cause analysis while ensuring compliance with enterprise security, audit, and governance standards.
