Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or relevant professional experience - At least 7 years of professional software development experience - Minimum 5 years of practical experience in building API integrations between applications - Over 5 years of experience using source control and continuous integration tools (such as GitLab) - Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Node.js) - Familiar with routine incremental code testing and deployment practices - Strong grasp of automation tools and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies - (Preferred) Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or field related - (Preferred) Hands-on experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, TensorFlow, or PyTorch - (Preferred) Expertise in deploying solutions on cloud platforms (AWS Bedrock/SageMaker or Google Cloud Vertex AI) - (Preferred) Experience with modern data tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow) for data transformation and workflow orchestration - (Preferred) Experience in designing prompts for generative AI models - (Preferred) Proven track record in mentoring or coaching developers on technical practices

Responsibilities

- Define the vision and architecture for AI solutions, gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating business challenges into detailed technical specifications - Design comprehensive AI systems, including data flows, model selection, and integration strategies that prioritize both innovation and dependability - Collaborate with business process owners, product managers, and system administrators to align AI functionalities with user requirements and organizational objectives - Rapidly prototype and develop Proofs of Concept and Minimum Viable Products using Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and AI agent frameworks - Architect and deploy production-level AI agents that automate complex processes while maintaining scalability, observability, and ongoing performance monitoring - Create secure API integrations and data pipelines for seamless interaction of AI systems with core databases, avoiding errors or data inconsistencies - Develop reusable AI stack templates and low-code tools to empower non-technical team members to create solutions independently - Maintain detailed documentation of AI environments, tools, and data flows for organizational clarity and consistency - Partner with Data and IT product managers to establish pathways for implementation and data architecture across various systems - Curate a library of
