Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
- Over 5 years of experience in IT architecture, design, and development roles.
- At least 3 years of experience in architecting and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- In-depth knowledge of multiple ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and App Engine.
- Proven track record in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable platform architectures.
- Familiarity with integration patterns and experience with REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and various integration methods.
- Background in agile and DevOps environments.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Established leadership and influencing skills, capable of driving alignment among diverse teams.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications are highly preferred.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise settings; familiarity with retail or multi-business unit environments is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior ServiceNow architects to shape the platform vision and strategy, aligning with enterprise objectives and evolving business requirements.
- Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across various modules ensuring scalability, maintainability, and integration with the wider enterprise systems.
- Serve as a trusted consultant and subject matter authority on ServiceNow capabilities, governance, and architectural best practices.
- Partner with teams to develop and enforce platform standards, frameworks, and guidelines to ensure consistent, secure, high-quality implementations.
- Work closely with both business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate the current state, and architect target state solutions.
- Propel platform growth and innovation by identifying new modules, features, and enhancements that align with business priorities.
- Guide the evaluation, design, and application of new ServiceNow features, upgrades, and integrations.
- Ensure data models, workflows, and user experiences are consistent, reusable, and optimized.
- Provide technical oversight to development teams and support project delivery across multiple ServiceNow workstreams.
- Collaborate with other Solution Architects to ensure effective integration of the ServiceNow platform within the broader enterprise architecture.
- Establish and enhance methodologies, processes, and tools for platform design, deployment, and governance.
- Keep an eye on technology trends, platform roadmaps, and emerging practices to suggest innovative ServiceNow applications to the business.
- Act as a thought leader and mentor to development teams and product owners.
- Define and uphold governance, security, and compliance standards for the ServiceNow platform.
- Contribute to IT strategy development and technology planning in partnership with IT leadership.
- Lead decisions at the platform level, including architecture reviews, vendor assessments, and solution evaluations.
- Support broader enterprise architecture initiatives and ensure architectural coherence across systems and platforms.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with business and technology stakeholders to promote the platform and uncover future opportunities.
