Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred.
- Over 3 years of experience in the role of IT Service Desk Technician or Data Center Operator.
- Familiarity with incident, change, and problem management in a multi-location data center environment.
- Proficiency in using ITIL-compliant Service Management platforms, particularly ServiceNow.
Responsibilities
- Offer support and troubleshooting for desktop, laptop, and data center hardware/software challenges.
- Generate incident tickets to document problems and escalate them to the suitable support teams.
- Manage significant IT incidents to swiftly address issues that affect business operations.
- Assist in IT functions including system backups and restores, AS400 IPLs, server reboots, off-site tape storage, and report creation and distribution.
- Execute user account creation, security management, and systems oversight.
