Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or other quantitative disciplines; OR 4 years of related experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics may be substituted for the degree requirement. - Minimum of 6 years of experience in data and analytics, or 4 years of data & analytics experience plus up to 2 years of relevant functional business experience within the respective industry (i.e. P&C, Banking, Finance, Marketing). - Advanced skills in mathematical and statistical techniques, enabling fact-based decision-making. - Proficient in various data analysis tools, data visualization, developing analysis queries, and procedures in SQL, SAS, BI tools, and relevant industry data/methods. - Experience with new data sets and their integration into actionable insights. - A passion for learning analytical techniques to explore data trends. - Strong communication skills to simplify and articulate findings.

Responsibilities

- Utilize advanced business, analytical, and technical expertise to engage in discussions with cross-functional teams to comprehend complex business objectives and influence solution strategies. - Implement advanced analytical methodologies to tackle significant business challenges that affect current and future strategies. - Employ innovative analytical techniques to derive conclusions and provide actionable recommendations that meet business goals. - Translate recommendations into clear communication materials suitable for various management levels. - Incorporate visualization methods to enhance the comprehension of analyses for non-technical audiences. - Identify and compile relevant, high-quality data sources needed to thoroughly address the problem at hand through testing or exploratory data analysis. - Transform and integrate diverse data sources while applying necessary data hygiene practices. - Thoroughly document assumptions, methodologies, validation, and testing procedures for peer reviews and compliance. - Stay informed about emerging technologies that could influence scientific methodologies and quantitative analysis applications. - Clearly communicate findings to influence management decisions and business strategies effectively. - Provide subject matter expertise to operationalize recommendations in practice. - Continuously seek opportunities to expand knowledge in data and analytics through various learning platforms and formal courses.
