Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience with an approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT.
- 4 years of software development experience demonstrating in-depth technical knowledge in relevant technologies.
- 2 years of experience delivering technology solutions throughout the software development lifecycle, including leading code and design reviews.
- Basic understanding of one or more programming languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python.
- Developing level of discernment in business operations, risk management, industry practices, and emerging trends.
- Experience addressing production issues through effective troubleshooting of applications and systems.
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and provide solutions.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate technical solutions.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues within applications and production systems.
- Enhance operations by performing sophisticated systems analysis and recommending policy adjustments.
- Prepare and implement complex solutions by defining system specifications and programming standards.
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle throughout project execution.
- Participate in design reviews and acquire knowledge of essential system design principles.
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially guide peer engineers while reviewing their code.
- Identify, measure, monitor, and manage risks associated with business activities in compliance with policies and procedures.
