Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 6 years of software development experience showcasing advanced technical understanding
- 4 years of delivering technology solutions through all software development lifecycle phases, including conducting code/design reviews
- Fundamental knowledge of languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Proven experience in researching technical problems and creating innovative solutions
- Experience addressing production issues through troubleshooting of applications and systems
- Ability to communicate technical challenges and solutions effectively
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and security principles
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate technical solutions across various technologies, including emerging technologies
- Collaborate with Engineers or Architects within and outside of the team on system integration
- Lead code and design reviews, updating stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and accurate project planning
- Develop sophisticated algorithms to meet business requirements
- Investigate and resolve complex application and system issues by overseeing end-to-end troubleshooting
- Mentor fellow engineers, providing guidance on system design, development, and maintenance; review peer code
- Influence and shape future architecture and quality standards for the domain
- Identify and optimize system performance issues, including technical debt
- Ensure business activity risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled per compliance standards
