Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 6 years of experience in software development demonstrating deep technical understanding in specific technologies
- 4 years of experience delivering technology solutions throughout the software development lifecycle, including code/design reviews
- Basic knowledge in one or more programming languages: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, Python
- Proven experience researching technical issues and developing innovative solutions
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production issues related to applications and systems
- Strong communication skills for articulating technical challenges and solutions
- In-depth knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals
- Experience with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test complex technical solutions across diverse technologies
- Collaborate with engineers and architects both within and outside the team to integrate systems and tools
- Lead code/design reviews and provide updates to stakeholders for smooth operations
- Develop complex algorithms to address business needs
- Investigate and resolve advanced application and system technical problems
- Mentor and coach engineers on system design, development, and maintenance
- Influence and shape the architecture and quality standards of the domain
- Identify and optimize system performance issues, including addressing technical debt
- Ensure risks are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled according to compliance policies
