Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience can substitute for a degree
- 6 years of software development experience with a profound technical understanding in specific technologies
- 4 years of experience in delivering technology solutions throughout the software development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews
- Basic understanding of one or more programming languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Proven ability to investigate technical issues and create innovative solutions
- Experience troubleshooting applications and systems related to production challenges
- Strong grasp of security coding practices and foundational principles of secure systems
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate technical solutions across various technologies
- Lead code and design reviews, communicating updates to stakeholders for smooth operations
- Create complex algorithms to address business requirements
- Investigate and resolve complex application and system technical challenges, directing end-to-end troubleshooting
- Mentor and coach other engineers in system design, development, and maintenance; review their code
- Influence and help mold the architecture and quality standards within the domain
- Identify and optimize system performance issues and technical debt
- Ensure risks associated with business operations are effectively managed according to compliance policies
