Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or four additional years of experience can substitute for a degree
- Six years of software development experience, demonstrating technical expertise in specific technologies
- Four years of experience delivering technology solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Basic understanding of one or more programming languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Demonstrated ability to research technical challenges and offer innovative solutions
- Experience in troubleshooting production issues related to applications and systems
- Strong knowledge of security coding practices and secure system principles
- Experience with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate technical solutions utilizing various technologies, including emerging ones
- Lead code and design reviews, communicating progress to stakeholders to ensure effective operations and planning
- Develop complex algorithms to address business requirements
- Investigate and resolve sophisticated application and system issues, guiding troubleshooting processes
- Mentor and coach engineers on the design, development, and upkeep of systems, while reviewing their code
- Influence and help shape the architecture and quality standards within the domain
- Identify and optimize system performance issues, including addressing technical debt
- Ensure risks related to business activities are effectively identified and managed in line with compliance policies
