Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 6 years of software development experience showcasing technical expertise in specific technologies
- 4 years of experience in delivering technology solutions throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle, including leading code and design reviews
- Basic knowledge of Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Proven ability to investigate technical issues and devise innovative solutions
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting production issues across applications and systems
- Proficient in articulating technical challenges and their corresponding solutions
- Strong understanding of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals
- Experience working with cloud technologies and related tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate tactical as well as strategic technical solutions across various technologies, collaborating with Engineers or Architects within the team and occasionally outside their domain
- Lead code and design reviews and update stakeholders to streamline daily operations and ensure accurate planning
- Create complex algorithms to meet business needs
- Investigate and resolve intricate application and system-related issues through comprehensive troubleshooting of end-to-end solutions
- Mentor and coach engineers on system design, development, and maintenance; review colleagues code
- Influence and help define the architectural and quality standards for your domain and assess them across the entire solution
- Identify system performance challenges, including technical debt, and enhance solutions accordingly
- Ensure business risks are properly identified, assessed, monitored, and controlled in line with risk and compliance policies
