Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree; OR 4 years of related experience may substitute for degree
- 6 years of experience in process improvement, project delivery, or business analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and product management tools
- Extensive knowledge of software delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SAFe)
- Advanced experience in analyzing business requirements and process flows
- Demonstrated use of Process Engineering methodologies
- Ability to gather business requirements, process flows, and write user stories independently
- Experience in driving decisions and streamlining business processes
- 8 years of Personal Lines experience, preferably in Auto
- 6 years specializing in Personal Lines modernization using Guidewire or Duckcreek
- 6 years leading agile product development and enhancing customer experiences
- Extensive knowledge of OOTB Insurance Products (Quote, Policy Processing, Rating, Underwriting)
- 6 years as a business analyst or development product owner refining product backlog
- Guidewire Associate/Analyst Certification
- US military experience, either through service or as a spouse/domestic partner
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and Subject Matter Experts to comprehend business strategy and vision
- Write, refine, and prioritize user stories and features for effective solutions
- Maintain a prioritized work backlog for one or more Agile teams
- Ensure user stories are complete, with acceptance criteria for the Agile team
- Review and approve outputs from development teams based on acceptance criteria
- Represent the business in the product delivery cycle with delivery teams
- Participate in cross-functional teams for product development and implementation
- Document and define business processes with IT and stakeholders
- Prepare the business for changes, providing metrics for adoption and risk
- Utilize various technologies to supervise development, testing, and controls
- Seek opportunities to enhance and advance business functions
- Mentor and coach other Product Owners
- Lead development across multiple teams within a project or program
- Identify and manage risks associated with business activities as per compliance policies
