Senior Model Validator - Lifecycle Management

- Execute independent model validation control activities for in-house and vendor models classified as high risk. - Utilize advanced technical methodologies to design and implement comprehensive validation testing plans. - Replicate model development processes and create challenger models employing predictive modeling, machine learning, and other specialized methods. - Formulate and implement model testing and data quality assessment strategies utilizing large and varied datasets. - Review the entire lifecycle management of model development, implementation, monitoring, and usage, with a focus on Banking and Insurance sectors. - Determine model inherent risk ratings, assess declassification applications, evaluate material changes, and oversee validations for model alterations. - Supervise and guide the model validation efforts of fellow team members. - Generate and present validation reports and related documentation to validation management, model partners, and senior executives. - Ensure that the model validation processes are aligned with risk and compliance policies and standards. - Assess the strengths of model risk controls in development, implementation, and usage phases. - Stay informed on new modeling techniques and approaches for professional development.
