Senior Manager, Life Insurance Data Strategy

- Act as a strategic partner by guiding other analytical leaders in implementing the businesss strategic objectives through quantitative analysis. - Enhance the teams reputation by developing expertise in decision science support. - Oversee and coordinate analytical activities, including evaluating business issues, selecting methodologies, validating results, and presenting findings and recommendations. - Stay updated on emerging technologies that influence scientific methodologies and quantitative analytical methods for problem-solving. - Identify and justify additional resources needed, including IT investments, third-party support, or additional analysts. - Understand the business environment and strategies to define the analytic direction and formulate strategies that inspire organizational change. - Collaborate with enterprise analytics teams to enhance USAAs core analytics capabilities and processes. - Manage all facets of team leadership, including recruiting, development, retention, coaching, performance management, and other managerial duties. - Mentor team members in mathematical skills and statistical techniques, guiding their use for effective decision-making. - Innovate knowledge in data analysis tools and pursue the latest practices in data science and analytics to enhance overall community expertise. - Work closely with IT/CTO partners to advance new data and platforms aligning with evolving skill sets, while ensuring compliance with risk policies.
