Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative analytics discipline such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or another related field - Alternatively, 4 years of relevant experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics may substitute for the degree requirement - 6 years of experience in data and analytics, or a combination of 4 years of data and analytics experience with up to 2 years of progressively responsible functional business experience within the industry - Advanced degree in a quantitative analytics discipline with 4 years of experience in data/analytics or functional business within the industry may also be considered - Proficient in mathematical and statistical techniques that guide data-driven decision-making - Strong knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization software, and SQL, SAS, or other analysis-related applications - Familiarity with emerging data sets and their integration into actionable insights

Responsibilities

- Utilize advanced business and analytical expertise to lead discussions with cross-functional teams and address complex business objectives - Employ advanced analytical techniques to resolve significant business challenges with far-reaching implications for current and future strategy - Implement innovative and quantitative approaches to derive insights and make actionable recommendations that support organizational change - Develop clear communication materials to present findings effectively to various management levels - Apply visualization methodologies to make analyses comprehensible for non-technical audiences - Identify and collect pertinent, high-quality data sources necessary for comprehensive analysis - Integrate and cleanse diverse data sources while applying appropriate data hygiene practices - Document assumptions, methodologies, validations, and testing procedures to support peer reviews and compliance - Stay updated on new technologies impacting scientific methodologies and quantitative approaches - Present findings in a way that clearly conveys insights, influences management, and supports strategic decision-making - Provide expertise in implementing recommendations and remain aware of trends in data and analytics - Pursue opportunities for continual learning in the fields of data and analytics through various platforms - Identify and manage risks in accordance with compliance policies
