Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or other quantitative disciplines; OR 4 years of relevant experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics can substitute for a degree. - 6 years of experience in data and analytics, OR a combination of 4 years of data and analytics experience and up to 2 years of relevant functional business experience, OR an advanced degree in a quantitative analytics field with 4 years of data/analytics or functional business experience. - Proficient in mathematical and statistical methodologies that support fact-based decision-making. - Advanced skills in data analysis tools, data visualization, and developing SQL, SAS, BI tools queries and procedures, as well as familiarity with industry data and methods. - Experience handling new and emerging data sets, including data wrangling and munging for insight generation.

Responsibilities

- Utilize advanced business, analytical, and technical expertise to engage in discussions with cross-functional teams to understand complex business objectives and influence solution strategies. - Implement advanced analytical techniques to address medium to large-scale business challenges, ensuring significant impact on current or future strategies. - Employ innovative and quantitative methodologies to derive insights and make actionable recommendations that address business objectives and drive desired change. - Translate recommendations into effective communication materials suitable for various management levels. - Use visualization techniques to clarify analysis points for less technical audiences. - Identify and collect high-quality data sources necessary to answer and address problems relevant to recommended strategies through exploratory data analysis (EDA). - Integrate and transform diverse data sources, employing data hygiene techniques to ensure accuracy. - Document assumptions, methodologies, validations, and testing rigorously to enable peer reviews and meet compliance standards. - Stay current with emerging technologies that may impact scientific methodologies and quantitative approaches. - Present analysis findings clearly to influence management, garner support for recommendations, and impact business strategy. - Provide expert guidance on implementing recommendations effectively. - Continuously seek opportunities to enhance knowledge within the data and analytics field through both formal and informal means.
