Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or a related field; or 4 years of relevant experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics can substitute for a degree. - 6 years of experience in data & analytics, or a combination of 4 years of data & analytics experience plus up to 2 years of progressive functional experience in the relevant industry for a total of 6 years; or an advanced degree in a quantitative analytics field with 4 years of applicable experience. - Proven advanced skills in mathematical and statistical techniques for driving fact-based decision-making. - Proficiency in data analysis tools, data visualization, and developing queries and procedures using SQL, SAS, BI tools, or similar analysis software. - Experience with emerging data sets and the skills to integrate them into new insights.

Responsibilities

- Utilize advanced business, analytical, and technical knowledge to engage or lead discussions with cross-functional teams to understand complex business objectives and influence solution strategies. - Employ advanced analytical techniques to resolve medium to large-scale business issues with a significant impact. - Develop innovative and scientific quantitative approaches to provide actionable insights that align with business goals and promote necessary changes. - Create communication materials that effectively present analysis recommendations to diverse levels of management. - Use visualization techniques to clarify analysis points and make findings accessible to non-technical audiences. - Identify and collect quality data sources relevant to the analysis and proposed strategies through exploratory data analysis. - Integrate and transform various data sources while implementing appropriate data hygiene practices. - Document assumptions, methodologies, validations, and testing processes comprehensively to support peer reviews and compliance. - Stay updated with emerging technologies that may enhance scientific methodologies and approaches to problem-solving. - Deliver analysis findings succinctly to convey understanding and influence various management levels, garner support for recommendations, and drive business decisions and strategy. - Serve as a subject matter expert to help operationalize recommendations.
