Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or another quantitative area
- 6 years of experience in data and analytics OR a combination of 4 years in data analytics and 2 years of progressive functional business experience in the relevant industry
- Advanced expertise in mathematical and statistical techniques used for informed decision-making
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and visualization software, AND the ability to develop analysis queries in SQL, SAS, BI tools, or other relevant analysis resources
- Familiarity with emerging data sets and techniques for data wrangling
- Strong communication skills, able to present findings clearly and concisely
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced business and analytical skills to engage with cross-functional teams, understanding complex business objectives and influencing solutions
- Employ advanced analytical techniques to address medium to large-scale business problems affecting strategy
- Provide innovative recommendations based on data analysis to drive necessary changes
- Produce communication materials to effectively convey recommendations to management
- Use visualization techniques to facilitate understanding among less technical audiences
- Identify and collect quality data sources to thoroughly address business challenges
- Ensure data hygiene through effective integration and transformation of disparate data sources
- Document methodologies and testing processes for compliance and peer reviews
- Stay informed about emerging technologies that could enhance analytical approaches
- Articulate analysis findings to influence decision-making and support strategic business objectives
- Act as a subject matter expert in implementing recommendations
- Continuously seek learning opportunities to enhance skills in the data and analytics domain
