Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative analytics discipline, such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data Science, or related fields
- Alternatively, 4 years of relevant experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics can substitute for a degree
- A total of 6 years of experience in data & analytics or a combination of 4 years of data & analytics experience and up to 2 years of functional business experience in a related industry (i.e. P&C, Banking, Finance, Marketing)
- Advanced degree in quantitative analytics with 4 years of applicable experience will also be considered
- Proven advanced skills in mathematical and statistical techniques for data-driven decision-making
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, data visualization, and SQL, SAS, BI tools, or similar software
- Experience with new data sets and effective data integration techniques
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced analytical and technical expertise to engage with cross-functional teams and influence strategic solutions
- Employ sophisticated analytical methods to resolve medium to large-scale business challenges influencing current and future strategies
- Develop scientific and innovative analytical approaches to generate actionable insights for business objectives
- Craft communication materials to present findings effectively across varying management levels
- Utilize visualization techniques to enhance understanding for non-technical audiences
- Identify and collect high-quality data required to address strategic recommendations through exploratory data analysis
- Integrate and transform disparate data sources while ensuring data quality
- Maintain thorough documentation of methodologies and validation processes for compliance purposes
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies that could impact analytical methodologies
- Deliver findings concisely to influence management decisions and strategic direction
- Act as a subject matter expert in implementing recommendations
- Keep current with trends in data and analytics, seeking opportunities for continuous learning
