Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (4 additional years can substitute for a degree)
- Approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT
- Minimum of 4 years in software development showcasing technical expertise in specific technologies
- At least 2 years of experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews
- Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages like Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Developing understanding of business operations, risk management, and industry trends
- Experience diagnosing production issues through troubleshooting
- Ability to communicate technical challenges and solutions clearly
- Basic familiarity with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, code, and test sophisticated technical solutions
- Investigate and resolve complex application issues and production problems through troubleshooting
- Continuously enhance operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending policy and procedure changes
- Prepare and install intricate solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle in all processes
- Participate in design reviews while learning fundamental system design principles
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance to peers; review code produced by teammates
- Ensure effective identification, measurement, monitoring, and control of risks associated with business activities in line with compliance policies
