Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree; or 4 years of related experience in addition to the minimum years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 6 years of experience in process improvement, project delivery, business analysis, or related to supported operations/product line.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, databases, and product management tools.
- Extensive understanding of various technical software delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, SAFe).
- Advanced ability to analyze business requirements, process flows, and use cases to identify opportunities for streamlining processes in line with risk management frameworks and regulatory demands.
- Proficient in Process Engineering methodologies with demonstrated application.
- Capability to independently gather requirements, process flows, and use cases to enhance business capabilities, write user stories, and follow the development process through acceptance.
- Experience in analyzing business requirements to drive decisions and improve processes under a risk management framework and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and subject matter experts to comprehend business strategy and vision, then write, refine, prioritize stories and features to facilitate effective and compliant solutions while balancing investment and business value.
- Maintain a prioritized work backlog for one or more Agile teams, ensuring complete user stories with acceptance criteria are prepared for the team.
- Review and approve outputs from IT and business development to verify criteria completion.
- Act as the business liaison for one or more delivery teams, representing customer perspectives throughout product delivery.
- Engage in a cross-functional team with user experience partners, designers, business analysts, developers, and testers to create, implement, and launch solutions aligned with program and product roadmaps.
- Partner with stakeholders and IT to define and document essential business processes, achieving in-depth understanding of needs, measures, risks, and controls for the improvement area.
- Prepare the business for transition and provide tactics and metrics for benefits, adoption, and risk management using existing change management processes as necessary.
- Oversee development, testing, and controls while working with various technologies, both internal and external.
- Leverage advanced knowledge in business development/execution to identify opportunities for enhancement and function advancement.
- Mentor and coach other Product Owners, displaying comprehensive knowledge across multiple business or system domains, capable of leading development across different teams at either project or program levels.
- Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled according to compliance policies and procedures.
