Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative analytics field (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science) or equivalent 4 years of related experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics.
- 4 years of experience in data/analytics or functional business experience within the relevant industry (Property & Casualty, Banking, Finance), or an advanced degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in mathematical and statistical methods that support evidence-based decision-making.
- Intermediate and some advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, SQL, SAS, BI tools, and capabilities in connecting external insights to business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Utilize intermediate to advanced analytical skills to engage with cross-functional teams, understanding business goals and influencing solution strategies.
- Employ advanced analytical techniques to resolve medium to large-scale business challenges that impact strategies.
- Apply innovative quantitative methods to generate actionable insights for addressing business objectives and guiding change.
- Convert analytical findings into presentation materials for peer and management review.
- Use visualization techniques to clarify analysis points for diverse audiences.
- Identify and compile quality data sources necessary for addressing business issues through exploratory data analysis (EDA).
- Integrate and transform various data sources, applying appropriate data hygiene measures.
- Document assumptions, methodologies, validation processes, and testing for compliance and peer review facilitation.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies that may influence scientific methodologies or quantitative approaches.
- Present analyses in a comprehensible manner to persuade management, support recommendations, and shape business strategies.
- Ensure that risks related to business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled as per compliance policies.
