Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (4 additional years of experience can substitute for a degree)
- 6 years of software development experience demonstrating substantial technical expertise in specific technologies
- 4 years of experience delivering technology solutions throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews
- Basic proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, Python
- Experience in researching technical issues and devising innovative solutions
- Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues in applications and systems
- Strong understanding of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals
- Experience with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test both tactical and strategic technical solutions across various technologies, including emerging ones
- Collaborate with engineers or architects within and occasionally outside the team/department to integrate existing systems and tools
- Conduct code and design reviews and communicate progress to stakeholders to ensure seamless daily operations and accurate planning
- Develop complex algorithms to address business requirements
- Investigate and resolve intricate application and system technical challenges
- Mentor and coach engineers on design, development, and system maintenance; review team members code
- Influence and shape the future architecture and quality standards within your domain
- Identify and optimize system performance issues, including technical debt
- Manage risks associated with business activities in compliance with risk and compliance policies
