Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- 6 years of experience in software development showcasing technical expertise within specific technologies
- 4 years of experience in delivering technology solutions through all phases of the software development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews
- Basic knowledge of one or more of the following: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, Python
- Proven experience in researching technical challenges and devising innovative solutions
- Demonstrated capability in troubleshooting applications and systems pertaining to production issues
- Strong ability to articulate technical challenges and present solutions
- Knowledge of security coding practices and secure system principles
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test complex technical solutions across various technologies, including emerging innovations
- Collaborate with Engineers or Architects within the team/department and occasionally beyond it to integrate existing systems and tools
- Lead code and design reviews, ensuring effective communication of updates to stakeholders for smooth daily operations
- Develop intricate algorithms to meet business requirements
- Address complex application and system problems and manage troubleshooting for end-to-end solutions
- Mentor and guide engineers on system design, development, and maintenance; provide code reviews
- Influence and contribute to the architectural vision and quality standards of the domain
- Identify and optimize system performance issues, focusing on reducing technical debt
- Ensure business risks are effectively identified, monitored, and managed in alignment with risk and compliance policies
