Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or 4 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree
- 6 years of experience in software development with a deep understanding of specific technologies
- 4 years of experience delivering technology solutions throughout the software application development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews
- Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Proven experience researching technical challenges and crafting innovative solutions
- History of addressing production issues through application and system troubleshooting
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and corresponding solutions
- Strong understanding of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals
- Experience in working with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test complex technical solutions across various technologies, including emerging tools
- Collaborate with Engineers and Architects within the team and occasionally across departments
- Lead code and design reviews and communicate updates to stakeholders to ensure effective operations and accurate planning
- Develop intricate algorithms to meet business requirements
- Investigate and resolve complex application and system issues by directing end-to-end solution troubleshooting
- Mentor and coach engineers on system design, development, and maintenance; review team members’ code
- Influence the future architecture and quality standards of the domain
- Identify system performance issues, addressing technical debt, and optimizing solutions
- Ensure risks related to business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled according to compliance policies
