Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or 4 additional years of experience in place of a degree
- 6 years of software development experience demonstrating in-depth technical expertise in specific technologies
- 4 years of experience delivering technology solutions throughout the software development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews
- Basic understanding of one or more of the following: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, Python
- Proven experience in researching technical problems and generating innovative solutions
- Experience in troubleshooting applications and systems to resolve production issues
- Strong verbal skills to articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Comprehensive knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals
- Experience with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test both tactical and strategic technical solutions across various technologies
- Conduct code and design reviews while communicating updates to stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and planning
- Develop sophisticated algorithms to address business requirements
- Investigate and resolve complex application and system issues through comprehensive troubleshooting of end-to-end solutions
- Mentor and coach fellow engineers on system design, development, and maintenance
- Review code produced by team members
- Influence the evolution of the domains architecture and quality standards, measuring outcomes across the entire solution
- Identify and address system performance challenges, including technical debt, to enhance solutions
- Ensure risks related to business activities are effectively identified, monitored, and managed in line with compliance policies
