Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or a similar quantitative discipline; OR 4 years of relevant experience in statistics, mathematics or quantitative analytics may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
- 4 years of experience in data or analytics, or functional business experience in the industry of responsibility (e.g., Property & Casualty, Banking, Finance) OR an advanced degree in a quantitative analytics field with 2 years of data or analytics experience in the relevant industry.
- Proven ability in mathematical and statistical techniques that support fact-based decision making.
- Intermediate and advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, and analysis software such as SQL, SAS, BI tools, and familiarity with industry data & methods.
- Familiarity with Marketing Attribution and Media Mix Modeling techniques.
- Experience in Paid Search analytics including keyword assessment and bidding algorithm optimizations.
- Major PPC platform campaign experience (e.g., SA360, Google Ads, Microsoft) and proficiency in Tableau and emerging search platforms.
- Knowledge of Digital Experience domain and experience with Incrementality/AB testing and Causal Inference.
- A history of leveraging data and analytics to enhance performance KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Leverage intermediate and some advanced business, analytical, and technical knowledge to engage with cross-functional teams and collaboratively work on business objectives.
- Employ advanced analytical techniques to address medium to large scale business challenges that impact current or future strategies.
- Utilize innovative and scientific analytical approaches to formulate insight to action recommendations that align with business objectives and promote change.
- Translate recommendations into communication materials for effective presentation to peers and management.
- Implement visualization techniques to clarify analysis findings for less technical audiences.
- Identify and collect relevant quality data to fully address the problems for proposed strategies via testing or exploratory data analysis.
- Integrate and transform disparate data sources while applying appropriate data hygiene techniques.
- Document assumptions, methodologies, validations, and testing thoroughly to support peer reviews and compliance needs.
- Stay informed of emerging technologies that may impact the application of analytical methodologies in problem resolution.
- Present analysis and findings in a way that influences management, secures support for recommendations, and drives strategic business decisions.
- Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and managed in line with compliance policies.
