Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience beyond the minimum requirement can be used in lieu of a degree or Approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT.
- 4 years of software development experience showcasing significant technical expertise in specific disciplines or technologies.
- 2 years of experience providing technology solutions during all stages of the software development lifecycle, including leading code and design reviews.
- Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, or Python.
- Developing insight into business operations, risk management, industry standards, and emerging trends.
- Experience in resolving production issues through application and system fixes.
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and propose solutions.
- Basic comprehension of cloud technologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, create, code, and test intricate technical solutions.
- Investigate and rectify complicated application and system issues as well as production problems through effective problem-solving techniques.
- Enhance operations by performing complex systems analysis and suggesting adjustments to policies and procedures.
- Prepare and implement intricate solutions by defining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle processes.
- Take part in design reviews and grasp essential system design principles.
- Mentor junior engineers and begin to guide peer engineers; review team members code.
- Ensure that risks linked to business activities are efficiently identified, assessed, monitored, and managed in accordance with compliance policies and procedures.
