Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree or an approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT or eFIT.
- Minimum of 4 years of software development experience with deep technical understanding in specific disciplines or technologies.
- At least 2 years of experience in delivering technology solutions throughout all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle, including leading design/code reviews.
- Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, or Python.
- Developing understanding of business operations, risk management, and industry practices.
- Experience troubleshooting applications and systems to resolve production issues.
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and proposed solutions.
- Basic comprehension of cloud technologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate technical solutions.
- Investigate and resolve challenging application and system problems through effective troubleshooting methods.
- Continuously enhance operations by performing in-depth systems analysis and recommending policy and procedural changes.
- Prepare and deploy complex solutions by determining system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle in all projects.
- Participate in design reviews and grasp essential system design principles.
- Mentor junior engineers and may also guide peer engineers; conduct code reviews for teammates.
- Ensure risks related to business activities are accurately identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in line with risk and compliance policies.
