Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree or recognized certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT.
- Minimum of 4 years of software development experience demonstrating significant technical expertise in applicable disciplines/technologies.
- At least 2 years of experience in delivering technology solutions across all stages of the software development lifecycle, including leading code and design reviews.
- Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python.
- Developing level of business knowledge in operations, risk management, and industry trends.
- Proven experience in resolving production issues through troubleshooting applications and systems.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical challenges and suggested solutions.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate technical solutions.
- Investigate and resolve complex application and system issues through effective troubleshooting methods.
- Continuously enhance operations by conducting detailed systems analysis and suggesting modifications to policies and procedures.
- Prepare and implement sophisticated solutions by determining system specifications, standards, and programming requirements.
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews and acquire key system design principles.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and may start guiding peer engineers.
- Review and assess teammates code contributions.
- Ensure risks connected to business activities are properly identified, measured, monitored, and regulated in line with risk and compliance protocols.
