Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree or an approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT
- 4 years of software development experience demonstrating deep technical knowledge in specific technologies
- 2 years of experience delivering technology solutions throughout all software systems and application development lifecycle phases
- Basic knowledge of one or more of the following: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, or Python
- Developing understanding of business operations, risk management, industry trends, and practices
- Experience handling production issues through application and system troubleshooting
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and potential solutions
- Basic familiarity with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test advanced technical solutions
- Investigate and resolve complex application and system issues using troubleshooting techniques
- Analyze systems to recommend improvements in operational policies and procedures
- Prepare and install intricate solutions by determining and designing specifications, standards, and programming
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle
- Participate in design reviews and grasp key system design principles
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially peer engineers; review team members code
- Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks associated with business activities in line with compliance policies
