Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree OR an approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT.
- 4 years of experience in software development showcasing a deep technical understanding of specific technologies.
- 2 years of experience delivering technology solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews.
- Basic familiarity with one or more of the following: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python.
- Developing business insight in business operations, risk management, industry practices, and emerging trends.
- Experience addressing production issues by troubleshooting applications and systems.
- Proficient in articulating technical challenges and their solutions.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate technical solutions.
- Investigate and resolve complex application and system issues, including production-related problems.
- Continuously enhance operations through in-depth systems analysis and recommend changes to policies and procedures.
- Prepare and implement sophisticated solutions by establishing system specifications, standards, and programming guidelines.
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews and grasp essential design principles.
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially guide peer engineers; review colleagues code.
- Ensure that risks relevant to business operations are accurately identified, measured, monitored, and managed according to compliance policies.
