Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience beyond the minimum requirement may substitute for a degree
- Approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT
- 4 years of software development experience showcasing strong technical expertise
- 2 years of experience in delivering technology solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews
- Basic understanding of one or more of the following: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Developing insight into business operations, risk management, and emerging trends
- Experience in addressing production issues by troubleshooting applications and systems
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and propose solutions
- Basic knowledge of cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate technical solutions
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and production challenges
- Enhance operations by conducting comprehensive systems analysis and recommending policy changes
- Prepare and install sophisticated solutions by resolving and designing system specifications and programming standards
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle
- Participate in design reviews and learn fundamental system design principles
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially guide peer engineers; review colleagues code
- Ensure business-related risks are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and managed according to compliance policies

This position is available in locations such as San Antonio, TX; Plano, TX; Phoenix, AZ; or Charlotte, NC, requiring an in-office presence 4 days a week.
