Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience can substitute for a degree.
- Approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT.
- 4 years of software development experience with technical depth in specific disciplines.
- 2 years of experience delivering technology solutions across the software development lifecycle.
- Basic understanding of one or more of the following: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python.
- Developing insight in business operations, risk management, and industry trends.
- Experience addressing production issues through application and system fixes.
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate technical solutions.
- Investigate and resolve challenging application and system issues.
- Enhance operations through complex systems analysis and recommend improvement policies.
- Prepare and implement sophisticated solutions by designing system specifications and standards.
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle procedures.
- Participate in design reviews and understand key design principles.
- Mentor junior engineers and start mentoring peer engineers; review colleagues code.
- Ensure effective identification, measurement, monitoring, and control of business activity risks per compliance policies.
