Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4 additional years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree or approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT or eFIT
- 4 years of experience in software development showcasing technical expertise in specific technologies
- 2 years of experience delivering technology solutions throughout the software development lifecycle including leading code and design reviews
- Basic understanding of one or more programming languages: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, Python
- Developing business insight regarding operations, risk management, industry practices, and emerging trends
- Experience addressing production issues by repairing applications and systems
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Basic knowledge of cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test sophisticated technical solutions
- Investigate and resolve complex application and system issues through troubleshooting techniques
- Continuously enhance operations by conducting in-depth systems analysis and proposing changes to policies and procedures
- Prepare and implement intricate solutions by addressing system specifications, standards, and programming
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle processes
- Participate in design reviews and grasp essential system design principles
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially guide peers; review teammates’ code
- Ensure risks from business activities are properly identified, measured, monitored, and managed according to risk and compliance policies
