Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (4 additional years of experience can substitute for degree) or approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT.
- A minimum of 4 years of software development experience with in-depth technical knowledge in specific technologies.
- 2 years of experience delivering technology solutions across all phases of software systems and application development lifecycle, including leading design and code reviews.
- Basic understanding of technologies such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python.
- Developing business acumen related to business operations, risk management, industry practices, and emerging trends.
- Experience troubleshooting applications and systems to address production issues.
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and propose solutions.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Conceive, design, and implement sophisticated technical solutions.
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex application and system issues to resolve production problems.
- Enhance operations through thorough systems analysis and recommend procedural changes.
- Prepare and install intricate solutions by defining system specifications, standards, and programming protocols.
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle and participate in design reviews, grasping essential system design principles.
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially guide peers, as well as review teammates code.
- Identify, assess, monitor, and control risks associated with business activities in line with compliance policies.
