Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (4 additional years in lieu of a degree)
- Approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT
- 4 years of software development experience demonstrating technical expertise in specific technologies
- 2 years of experience in delivering technology solutions throughout the software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Experience troubleshooting application and system production issues
- Good communication skills to articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate technical solutions
- Investigate and resolve challenging application and system issues utilizing troubleshooting techniques
- Enhance operations by performing comprehensive systems analysis and suggesting policy and procedure changes
- Prepare and install advanced solutions by defining system specifications and programming standards
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle
- Participate in design reviews and grasp essential system design principles
- Mentor junior engineers and may also mentor peers, reviewing teammates code
- Ensure risks associated with business activities are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled according to compliance policies
