Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience in place of a degree or approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT.
- 4 years of software development experience with profound technical expertise in specific disciplines/technologies.
- 2 years of experience in providing technology solutions throughout all phases of the software application development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews.
- Basic understanding of one or more programming languages including Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python.
- Developing understanding of business operations, risk management, industry practices, and emerging trends.
- Experience addressing production challenges through troubleshooting applications and systems.
- Ability to communicate technical challenges and solutions effectively.
- Basic knowledge of cloud technologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test sophisticated technical solutions.
- Investigate and rectify complex application and system issues through effective troubleshooting methods.
- Enhance operational efficiency by performing in-depth systems analysis and proposing changes to policies and procedures.
- Prepare and implement intricate solutions by defining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle processes.
- Take part in design reviews while learning essential system design principles.
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially provide guidance to peers; evaluate team members code.
- Ensure that risks associated with business activities are accurately identified, evaluated, monitored, and controlled in line with risk and compliance policies.
